The group dermatologists grow from March 1, 2010 start 2 new dermatologists in our hospital, namely Dr. Delphine Van Ruys and Dr. Velt The Adinda Vroede. Together with Dr. Franciska Deviaene they will expand the department of dermatology. Leonie Depraetere is by January 1, 2010 started in our hospital, as a dietician for Obesitaskliniek. In the obesity clinic, led by Dr. Defoer, we aim for a multidisciplinary approach to complex problem obesity. A specialized team of physicians, dietitians, exercise and behavioral therapists, go with the patient to find the root of the problem. It is looking for an appropriate solution and the patient during his treatment actively monitored by our specialists. With obesity a major surgical approach may be considered.
